Music Lessons
Your weekly half hour lessons happens at my home in Mercer. I live right on the corner of
Route 137 & US Route 2, exactly 5 miles West from the light in Norridgewock.
You really can not miss it. It is a white farm house with a white picket fence.
There is a small sign on the fence.
I am looking forward to supporting your future in music. Each year we have Recitals/Variety shows.
We set realistic goals & encourage dressing-up to match the years theme. Afterwards there is a nice smorgasbord. It is very informal & we all have a great time!
Please try to come to lessons a little early or at least on time.
If you are tardy, I am sorry but it will cut into your lesson time.
Payment is due for each semester in one payment at the start of the semester.
If you would like, you can also pay in 1/2 or in 1/4 installments through-out the semester.
You can pay using the Internet via Pay Pal, sending a check by mail or dropping it off in person.
Checks should be made out to Mellori Worthen.
I charge $15 for each and every bounced check, as this is the fee my bank charges me.
24 hour notice is observed by both you & me. Snow storms, emergencies, & breakdowns are to be called in or I will consider it a No Show. All Cancellation notifications (illness, party, meeting, no transportation, other) must be called in no later than noon the day of your lesson.
Late Cancellations & No Shows are lost lessons for you.
If would definitely be in your best interest to show up for each and every scheduled lessons. If one should need to be rescheduled, you will want to work in another lesson, within the week, since it will already be paid for.
As soon as you know of a change, please contact me so I will be able to work you in convenient to both our schedules, be it a different day or a different time.
I hope you will be able to practice between lessons. I do recommend at least a half hour daily. Setting a certain time helps to remind you & your family that it is Your time for music.
A popular idea is to use your weekly lesson time as the time each night.
